Igor Tudor sack pressure intensifies as Tottenham attracted to Thiago Motta
Igor Tudor is already on the brink of being sacked at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs are well and truly in the midst of a relegation battle ahead of the final nine games of the season, with Tudor yet to have the desired impact to change that.
The Lilywhites find themselves just one point above the drop zone, and with a trip to Liverpool up next for them in the Premier League, they could easily find themselves within it.
As a result, Tudor is under increasing pressure in North London, with Thiago Motta having already been identified as a potential successor.

What’s the latest on Igor Tudor’s future?
Tudor had a very successful spell in charge of Juventus when he was hired as interim manager, but he has not had the same effect at Tottenham.
As a result, a report from Fichajes highlights his current position as “very precarious”, with it claimed that Spurs are already looking at alternative managers.
And among those being considered for the job is Motta, whose most recent position was with Juventus up until 2025.
The Italian’s profile is said to be “very attractive” to the hierarchy at Tottenham, mainly due to the attacking style of football he adopts.
When could Tudor be sacked at Tottenham?
Spurs are back in action midweek when they take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Unless Tottenham were to suffer an inexplicable defeat against the Spaniards, it’s highly unlikely any decision will be made on Tudor, though that could come at the weekend.
A defeat for Spurs against Liverpool could see them drop into the bottom three, which would be a disastrous position to be in ahead of the final eight games.
It would also leave Tottenham winless in their first four games under Tudor, making his position seem all but untenable.
Tudor would do well to survive another Premier League defeat with Tottenham, with relegation fears growing stronger and stronger by the minute.
