Int'l break update on Leeds sacking Daniel Farke before return to PL action - Sources
Leeds United are not currently considering the future of Daniel Farke and believe he has done an excellent job in the Premier League, sources have told Football Insider.
Speculation about the boss’ future has ramped up with sections of the fanbase calling for his sacking regardless of whether they remain in the top flight.
This comes after four consecutive league games without a goal, although they remain four points clear of the relegation zone and in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Leeds have dismissed “crazy” calls for the manager’s head at this stage of the season.
While Farke’s future had been considered earlier in the campaign, with Leeds possibly looking for a new manager, those doubts have been eased by their dramatic turnaround.

Daniel Farke sack claims dismissed by Leeds United
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 24 March that Leeds would consider Farke’s position if they were to suffer relegation this season.
However, they remain four points clear of West Ham, and have picked up vital points with just two defeats in their last seven Premier League games.

Farke’s side have showed resilience despite their lack of goalscoring prowess, and have put themselves in a strong position to secure survival as things stand.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “Nah, no chance, it’s crazy that some Leeds fans are calling for Daniel Farke to be sacked.
“He’s done a really good job there. Earlier in the season, around November, it looked like he could be sacked because Leeds were struggling at the wrong end of the table.
“Then he changed the formation in the defeat to Man City and that’s seen things turn around with improved performances and improved results.
“They’re four points above the relegation zone, and if you had offered that to Leeds at the start of the season, they would have taken that.
“The concern has been the lack of goals in recent games. They’ve failed to score in their last four games, but they’re not conceding too many goals either, so it’s no massive concern.
“I’d still be confident that Leeds have more than enough to stay up and as I said a lot of that will be down to Farke so he is being given a lot of credit at Leeds.”
Leeds make new plan to back Farke this summer
Despite putting themselves in a strong position to avoid relegation, Leeds believe they must strengthen in the summer to become stable in the Premier League.
Football Insider revealed on 26 March that Leeds will back Farke this summer by signing new players to fit into his 3-5-2 system as they look to improve on a strong season.

Farke has no plans to divert away from that system next season, even if they do suffer relegation, and the club’s transfer policy is set to align with that plan.
The addition of a new striker remains the club’s priority as things stand, but they are set to assess the entire squad to find position they can improve on.
There is also a feeling that a number of players in the current squad do not fit the system and could be moved on if suitable offers arrive.
