Jack Grealish is continuing his recovery from foot surgery and has now delivered a message to Everton fans.

The Englishman sustained a stress foot fracture back in January, which is set to keep him out until the end of the season.

It is a major blow for both the player and the Toffees, with Grealish becoming a key member of an Everton squad pushing for a place in Europe.

The 30-year-old was pushing for a place in the England squad for the upcoming World Cup too, but those dreams are likely over as well.

The loanee has now shared a social media post urging that he will come back stronger from this setback with an update post-surgery.

We are now four weeks on from Grealish going under the knife to fix the fracture in his foot, and the Englishman is looking to bounce back when recovered.

David Moyes has confirmed that Grealish is unlikely to return by the end of the season, but the winger is stepping up his recovery.

Grealish said via his Instagram: “Four weeks post op and working hard to be back better and stronger than ever” with a blue heart emoji.

Everton fans will be anxiously awaiting to know if Grealish has played his last game for the Toffees or if he can secure another few seasons in L3.

What is the latest on Grealish to Everton following loan expiry?

Grealish returning to the Hill Dickinson Stadium next season is a move that makes sense for all parties.

At Man City, Grealish would be a bit-part player, and the Citizens likely want to get him off their books. While Everton have relied on his creativity for much of the season.

For the 30-year-old, he has seemingly regained his love for football, following a few disappointing years at the Etihad in terms of minutes.

However, issues around a fee could arise with reports in February saying Grealish’s Everton spell is over.

Everton do have a £50million buy option for the England international, but are unlikely to trigger it at that price and could agree a lower fee.

It remains to be seen if the Friedkin Group can negotiate with Pep Guardiola’s side to reach an agreement that suits everyone involved.

Grealish does only have one year left on his Man City deal following the end of this season, so the Blues may feel confident they have enough leverage to whittle that fee down.
