Jack Grealish spotted behind the scenes at Finch Farm as Dewsbury-Hall shares update
Jack Grealish is set for an extended period on the sidelines at Everton after suffering a suspected stress fracture in his foot.
Everton could be without Grealish for three months, but David Moyes has yet to officially confirm how long the creative winger will be out of action for.
The 30-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Everton beat Aston Villa 1-0 on Sunday evening, but there are now rumours that it could have been his final game for the club.
Grealish is on loan from Manchester City, and it remains to be seen whether the move will be made permanent in the summer.
Everton receive positive Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall update
Despite the bad news regarding Grealish, there is a more positive update coming out of Finch Farm this week.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is back in Everton training after a spell in the treatment room, as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old was forced off during a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea back in the middle of December, and has missed seven games for the Toffees in the interim.
To celebrate his return to the training pitch, Dewsbury-Hall shared a post on Instagram, giving supporters a behind-the-scenes look into his rehabilitation process.
The midfielder shared several photos from over the past few weeks, with the caption: “That’s Life.
Here’s some rehabilitation files. But now let’s get back to the real work.”
In one of the snaps, Grealish can be seen jokingly giving the camera the middle finger while sitting on an exercise bike.
The real effect of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s return
Dewsbury-Hall’s return to fitness comes at the perfect time for Everton, who have lost a lot of their creativity after the news about Grealish’s injury.
The former Chelsea man has been badly missed while he has been out of action, especially as his absence has coincided with that of Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye.
In his 15 Premier League appearances this season before the injury, Dewsbury-Hall picked up six goal contributions for Moyes’ side.

He makes such a difference for the Toffees when he is in the team, and the Merseyside outfit will hope he can get straight back to his best.
It remains to be seen whether Dewsbury-Hall will be available for Monday night’s clash with Leeds United, but he is now closing in on a return.
