Danilo didn’t celebrate with much enthusiasm as he scored for Rangers against Dundee in the William Hill Premiership on Sunday.

Ibrox hosted Steven Pressley’s team on 25 January, with the Brazilian striker coming on as a substitute in the 81st minute in place of Bojan Miovski and scoring the Gers’ second in the 3-0 victory.

Danilo has been transfer-listed by Danny Rohl, with the likes of Nedim Najrami, Joe Rothwell and Clinton Nsiala also surplus to requirements.

The 26-year-old hasn’t been able to pip Miovski or Youssef Chermiti in the pecking order, and his future seems away from the Glaswegian outfit.

Rangers to sanction permanent Danilo exit

Clubs that have offered a permanent offer for Danilo have gone to the front of the queue for his signature, Keith Jackson says.

The Daily Record journalist reveals that while NEC Nijmegen have made a loan offer for the Brazil national, the Ibrox hierarchy may prefer to sell him.

With the centre-forward starting just six league games for the Light Blues in the current campaign, his exit feels inevitable.

Speaking on Hotline Live on 26 January, Jackson said, “His celebration looked like that of a player who knows he’s not long for this parish. I think there’s interest in Holland as well. NEC are interested, but I think that’s a loan deal, and it looks as if the subjects that have got to the front of the queue were actually putting down an offer to make it a permanent deal.”

Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi is being eyed by Rohl, with the Glaswegian outfit planning on Danilo’s permanent departure.

However, it remains to be seen how the situation develops before 2 February as the German manager builds his squad for a title push in the second half of the season.

Danny Rohl to block Danilo exit after latest developments

While Naderi wants to move to Ibrox, Hansa Rostock aren’t keen on his exit in the winter window.

The 3. Liga club have refused to accept an offer from Rangers as they hope to get more money for the 22-year-old German striker in the summer.

With Deadline Day just a few days away, it looks like a challenging task for the Light Blues to convince Hansa Rostock to sell Naderi, who’s outperforming his xG, as per Sofascore.

If the Glaswegian outfit don’t sign a new number nine soon, it wouldn’t make sense to part ways with Danilo, and Rohl should block his exit until the attack is reinforced.
