Nedim Bajrami's Rangers contract situation examined amid Ibrox exit talk
Nedim Bajrami has been heavily linked with a Rangers exit in recent months.
Bajrami has made just 19 appearances this season for the Gers, with two goals and one assist in those matches.
The Albania star was supposedly one of five players who were surplus to requirements and could have left Ibrox in the winter transfer window, according to the Daily Record.
While the 27-year-old stayed put, there are serious question marks over his Rangers future going forward.
🚨 RANGERS TRANSFER UPDATE 🚨
The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
What is Bajrami’s contract situation at Rangers?
Bajrami signed for Rangers in August 2024 in a £3.4million deal from Italian side Sassuolo.
He signed a long-term contract with the exact length not being revealed by the Glasgow club at the time.

His deal is understood to expire in the summer of 2028, which means that the Light Blues can still secure a decent fee for his services, if they choose to sell.
How much does he earn at Ibrox?
Bajrami is understood to earn around £19,000-per-week in Govan, which puts him in the middle of the wage structure.
That means that the rest of his contract will cost the Gers around £2,014,000 if he sees it out rather than leaving.
The Bears may well decide that they want to move him and utilise that money better, to bolster Danny Rohl’s side further.
How has Bajrami performed this season?
Bajrami has played 63 matches for the Gers, with seven goals and five assists in that time, a modest return for an attacking midfielder.
This season, he has had a miserable campaign, making just 12 Scottish Premiership appearances with just three starts, with one goal and one assist.
He has averaged one shot per game, with 0.3 of those efforts on target, with a goal every 327 minutes that he has played in the competition, per Sofascore.
Bajrami’s stats for Rangers this season Scottish Premiership Matches 12 Starts 3 Goals 1 Assists 1 Shots per game 1 (0.3) Pass accuracy 78% Chances created 2 Dribble success rate 53%
The Albanian has recorded two chances created, for a total expected assists tally of 1.42, a 78 per cent pass accuracy and a 53 per cent dribble success rate.
Defensively, he has averaged 0.7 tackles, 1.6 recoveries and 0.2 clearances per game, which are not the best figures.
The numbers that he has put up and the lack of gametime suggest that it would be remiss for the Light Blues to offer him a new deal anytime soon.
