'Not available' - David Moyes shares Everton without one player vs Brentford

Charly Alcaraz will be the only player unavailable for Everton against Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Iliman Ndiaye was unable to play for Senegal during the international break after picking up an injury with the Toffees, but the winger will be in line to start at Gtech Community Stadium on 11 April.

David Moyes was asked about the 26-year-old and Jarrad Branthwaite’s fitness and shared that he had an almost fully fit squad for the trip to West London.

The Scottish manager has every right to be confident going into the Brentford game and finishing in fifth-place will bring Champions League football to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Moyes hasn’t relied on Alcaraz much this season and his absence won’t necessarily change a lot for him in the final seven games of the season.

Everton must turn around disappointing record vs Brentford

Brentford are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games against the Toffees.

In the previous campaign, the Blues played out two draws against the Bees, and at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Keith Andrews’ team won 4-2 back in January.

Igor Thiago scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture and it will be interesting to see whether the likes of James Tarkowski and Michael Keane will be able to keep him quiet this time around.

Branthwaite is also fit to play, and with an almost fully fit squad, the 62-year-old head coach will be confident about his defence going into the game.

Speaking to the media on 10 April, Moyes said, “They’re all fine. The players are fine. We’re just about to get a fully fit squad. Alcaraz is back in early training. He’s not available for the game but he’s getting closer to being fit again.”

Moyes has brought the best out of the Guinea-Bissau striker at the perfect time of the season, with the final seven league matches determining whether the Toffees will be playing European football next season.

The Scottish manager has managed to turn the tide in L3 despite an evident lack of squad depth at the Blues.

Dan Friedkin should make funds available for a new number nine at the Merseyside outfit regardless of how the campaign ends and it will be interesting to see where that would leave Barry.
