PL star edges towards summer exit as Everton ready transfer swoop, hefty wages on cards - report

Harry Wilson has been in sensational form in the Premier League this season.

The Welshman was close to leaving Fulham in the summer for Leeds, but instead remained at Craven Cottage and has been on fire ever since.

Everton are well stocked in attacking midfielders, but injuries and international duty have seen them pushed to the very limit at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been out injured, with Iliman Ndiaye away at the African Cup of Nations, leaving Jack Grealish behind.

That could open the door to Wilson, with David Moyes particularly interested.

Wilson is out of contract at the end of this season, and currently looks unlikely to sign new terms.

Fulham are said to be fighting an uphill battle to keep their star man, who is attracting interest from around the Premier League again.

According to talkSPORT, Everton are one of those interested in Wilson, alongside Leeds, Sunderland and Crystal Palace.

It is said that the 28-year-old could demand a hefty signing-on fee and lucrative wages at his next club.

It’s not just his numbers for goals and assists that have caught the eye, but the actual quality of those involvements at Craven Cottage.

Wilson’s sensational strike against Crystal Palace is the pick of the bunch, curling home from outside of the box with the outside of his foot.

Being able to play centrally, as well as out wide, would offer Moyes and Everton some serious depth.

With Everton favourites to sign Jack Grealish for £30million too, it would leave the Toffees looking so dangerous in the final third.

European football is also still on the cards this season, so that will need to be possibly factored into any transfers moving forward into 2026.

Dwight McNeil and Tyler Dibling aren’t quite cutting it right now, so added options ahead of them could be critical to any future chances of success.

Wilson would be a sensational signing. It’s time to make sure it happens.
