Player arrives at Rangers, could make debut vs Annan tomorrow - Four Lads
Andreas Skov Olsen is on the verge of joining Rangers.
Skov Olsen has been linked with Rangers for a number of days, and an agreement with Wolfsburg has been reached to sign him on loan until the end of the season.
Unlike the deal to sign Oscar Cortes in February 2024, there is no obligation to buy the 26-year-old forward, although there is an option to secure his services for £8.5million.
The Denmark international joined Wolfsburg from Club Brugge for £12m in January 2025, but he has failed to hit the ground running.
However, Skov Olsen’s excellent record in Belgium leaves fans believing that they now have a star in their ranks, and they can’t wait to see him in action.

Andreas Skov Olsen could feature in Rangers vs Annan Athletic
Rangers begin their Scottish Cup journey by taking on Annan Athletic at Ibrox in the fourth round on Friday.
The Four Lads Had A Dream social media account said that Skov Olsen is in Glasgow and the signing will be announced unless there are any last-minute complications.
The Dane could potentially feature against Annan, and Rangers fans will be excited to potentially see him play for the first time.
Separate reports suggest that Skov Olsen will potentially undergo his medical on Friday, and that could be the only thing that puts him at jeopardy of playing in the Scottish Cup.
Despite his excellent numbers for Club Brugge, he failed to settle in at Wolfsburg and Rohl may look to ease him into the team.
However, if the medical is done in time, then an appearance off the bench against a side that plays in the fourth tier would be the perfect way for him to make his debut.
His last match for the German outfit came on 7 November, and he’ll be looking to hit the ground running in Govan.
As highlighted by the Sofascore graphic below, there are certainly particular strengths he will bring to the side.

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but Danny Rohl’s words about the Skov Olsen deal will be hugely exciting for supporters ahead of the cup tie.
What did Danny Rohl say about Skov Olsen on Thursday?
Ahead of Friday’s match, Rohl spoke about how he has followed Skov Olsen’s progression over the years.
He said: “I was asking for a left foot on the right side. I think this is also part, because we have a lot of right-footed players, it gives us a different profile as well.
“He had a lot of goals in Club Brugge, and now it’s about us. If he comes, if we bring him back to his best performance, and if he can do this, then of course he could be a great loan signing.”

Rohl has done a fantastic job since arriving at Rangers, and the board has backed him heavily in the transfer market already.
Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens have also joined the Glaswegian outfit in January, with the former also expected to make his debut against Annan.
All in all, this is a very exciting period of the season for the Bears, and Skov Olsen’s signing is a statement of intent that they can go all the way in both the cup and the league.
Hopefully, the 26-year-old will be given his first taste of Scottish football on Friday, and he can go on to become a big success at Rangers.
