Rangers attacker who recently scored could now seal late loan exit as interest emerges - report
Danilo could depart Rangers before the end of the winter transfer window with a loan move now on the cards at Ibrox.
Danny Rohl’s side have had a busy month so far, making three high-profile signings to aid their fight for the Scottish Premiership title.
Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens came in from Sturm Graz and Westerlo, respectively, both making the permanent switch to Ibrox.
Andreas Skov Olsen has also joined Rangers, coming in on an initial loan deal from Wolfsburg, with the Glasgow outfit holding an option to buy for around £8.6million.
The Gers could now be set to lose one of their first-team players, though, with Danilo linked with a return to the Eredivisie.
NEC make loan move for Danilo
Danilo joined Rangers from Feyenoord back in the summer of 2023, coming in for a fee of just under £6m.
His arrival sparked a lot of excitement among Gers fans, but the 26-year-old has failed to really settle at Ibrox, with injuries taking over.
This season, Danilo has scored just four times across all competitions, and he is currently out of favour under Rohl, having started just one of the last 11 Scottish Premiership matches.

According to Dutch site De Gelderlander, the Eredivisie outfit NEC Nijmegen are tracking the Rangers forward and are considering an approach in the next week.
Danilo has a contract at Ibrox until the summer of 2028, and he will most likely move to the Netherlands on loan if a deal can be agreed.

Can Rangers afford to let Danilo leave?
Rohl has struggled to decide on his first-choice centre-forward since taking over at Ibrox, with none of Danilo, Youssef Chermiti, or Bojan Miovski cementing their place in the team.
However, Rangers’ 3-0 win over Dundee was their eighth straight victory in all competitions, and moved them just four points behind Hearts at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Despite not having a proper goalscoring striker, Rohl is still managing to win games of football.
Danilo did find the back of the net against Dundee, but the Brazilian still hasn’t done enough over the course of the season.
Rangers would be better off letting the 26-year-old leave and trying to bring in a more prolific goalscorer before the window shuts.
