Rangers given two-week deadline to pay six-figure fee as SPFL decision made
Rangers will have to fork out a six-figure fee in the next two weeks.
Rangers have not been afraid to splash the cash this month, bringing in three players to help Danny Rohl‘s title tilt.
Tochi Chukwuani, Tuur Rommens and Andreas Skov Olsen have arrived at Ibrox, for a combined figure of appoximately £7million.
However, the 49ers Enterprises group and Andrew Cavenagh have been forced to pay for a piece of business that they did in the summer, for a player that is not even in Rohl’s plans.

Rangers find out how much they will have to pay for Lyall Cameron
Rangers signed Lyall Cameron on a free transfer in the summer, but they could not agree a compensation figure with Dundee, and the matter went to a tribunal.
A report from the BBC on 22 January claims that the SPFL has ordered the Gers to pay £400,000 for the midfielder.

It states that the Light Blues have 14 days from Tuesday’s (20 January) decision to pay the amount.
Why Cameron has not justified his price tag, yet
Cameron has not justified the figure that the Gers will end up paying for his services unfortunately.
He has made 11 appearances for the Light Blues so far in all competitions, with one goal and no assists in those matches.
The ex-Dens Park ace finds himself behind the likes of Nicolas Raskin, Mohamed Diomande, Connor Barron and new man Chukwuani in the engine room.
He can also play on the flank, but he faced a tough battle to get ahead of the likes of Andreas Skov Olsen, Djeidi Gassama, Thelo Aasgaard, Mikey Moore, and Oliver Antman, who is injured at the minute.
He will not get the chance to this season, as he has been sent on loan to Aberdeen until the end of the season, so that he can get regular game time away from Ibrox.
The 23-year-old will hope to be able to reassert himself in Rohl’s squad, but his role when he returns is uncertain at the moment.
The fact that there is no buy option in his loan deal with the Dons suggests that he still has a future in Govan, but he has not lived up to the amount that the Bears have been told to pay.
