Schalke's Edin Džeko suffers shoulder injury on Bosnia and Herzegovina duty
The Bundesliga 2 side confirmed that Džeko had suffered a shoulder injury and is currently “undergoing thorough examinations” with further tests to continue once the Bosnian returns to Gelsenkirchen.
“I hope Edin’s injury isn’t serious and he can be at the World Cup,” remarked Bosnia head coach Sergei Barbarez, who spent his playing career in Germany.
