Shakhtar Donetsk vs Crystal Palace: How to watch, live stream details, kick-off time and supercomputer prediction

Shakhtar Donetsk host Crystal Palace this week in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League semi-final tie.

Palace are aiming to make history in the Conference League this season by reaching their first-ever final in European competition.

Oliver Glasner is already the most successful boss in their history, and a first-leg win against Shakhtar would see them take another step towards helping him go out on a high with the Eagles.

They beat Fiorentina 4-2 on aggregate in the quarters, but head into this week’s game on a run of two defeats and one draw from their last three games.

That is because all focus is on Palace’s match against Donetsk, rather than the Premier League, and Football Insider have rounded up everything that their fans need to know ahead of the match.

What channel is Shakhtar vs Palace on?

Shakhtar saw off AZ Alkmaar 5-2 on aggregate in the last round, and are one of the most in-form teams in Europe, with just one loss in their last 23 games across all competitions.

Arda Turan’s side have played their European home matches in Kraków at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium this season, which is where they will face Palace on Thursday, 30 April.

What are Opta predicting for Shakhtar vs Palace?

Away from the pitch at Selhurst Park, sources have told Football Insider that Palace chiefs have spoken to six managers ahead of appointing a successor to Glasner.

He will want to add another European trophy to his collection before leaving, and Opta‘s supercomputer is giving the Eagles a 52.3 per cent chance of winning on Thursday, while Shakhtar have a 24.7 per cent chance.

They are handed a 75.28 per cent chance of progressing to the final in Leipzig next month, while Opta believe that Palace have a 44.43 per cent chance of winning the competition.
