Shearer has no doubt about Palace repeat in prediction vs Everton
Alan Shearer believes Everton will beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Toffees travel to Selhurst Park on 10 May and have been backed to get the three points, with Oliver Glasner expected to make several changes to his starting lineup.
David Moyes was left disappointed after losing a two-goal lead against Manchester City in the 3-3 draw at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Shearer has no doubt that the Eagles will repeat what they’ve done in recent Premier League matches and rest some of their key players.
Moyes must get the better of Glasner if the Scottish manager wants to keep the Merseyside outfit’s hopes of qualifying for Europe alive in the current campaign.

Everton to take advantage as Crystal Palace focus away from Premier League
Writing in the Metro on 8 May, Shearer said, “I think Palace will do what they’ve done in the last few games, which is rest three or four players and leave them on the bench. I think they’ll do the same again, and for that reason, I’ll say Everton will win.”
Glasner is set to leave Palace at the end of the season, but before that, he has a chance to do something special at Selhurst Park.
After winning the FA Cup last season, the Austrian head coach can go out with a Conference League title.

The Eagles have qualified for their first-ever European final in their first-ever European campaign and will face Rayo Vallecano at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig on 27 May.
Glasner wouldn’t want to pick up any major injuries before the monumental fixture and the Blues can take advantage of Palace playing a potentially weaker side on the weekend.
David Moyes lets opportunity slip at Hill Dickinson Stadium
If Everton had beaten Manchester City at home, they would have been just two points behind sixth-place Bournemouth with three games to go in the Premier League.
Fans in L3 have been anticipating the return of European football for some time, but the Toffees have left themselves with some catching up to do.

There’s still a chance that the Blues will climb further up the table if results elsewhere go their way.
Moyes has left a bitter taste in some supporters’ mouths with the recent performances and the Merseyside outfit will surely have to re-evaluate their goals at the end of the season.
