Tottenham get it all wrong with Radu Dragusin exit as £10m transfer update connects the dots
Radu Dragusin looks increasingly likely to leave Tottenham this transfer window.
Thomas Frank is under serious pressure at Spurs, and the Lewis family will have to conduct their business carefully.
Joe Lewis has over £100million left for Tottenham to spend this month after the signing of Conor Gallagher, but sales have been coming frequently at N17.
The Lilywhites are prepared to lose Dragusin in the remaining time left of the window, but it’s important that internal figures get the right replacement in.

Tottenham target Mika Marmol to replace Radu Dragusin
Dragusin has faced injury problems at Spurs since arriving from Genoa in 2024, and as a result, has spent lengthy spells on the treatment table at Hotspur Way.
Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are ahead of the centre-back in the pecking order at Spurs, which leaves Dragusin with the need for game time.
- Tottenham spent £21.5million on Dragusin
- He has played 38 times in total for the Lilywhites
- Dragusin could leave on loan or through a permanent sale
According to TEAMTALK on Thursday, Spurs are open to selling Dragusin for £17.3million with Roma and Napoli both interested.
The Lilywhites have started preparing for his exit, and are targeting the signing of Las Palmas centre-half, Mika Marmol, as the Romanian’s replacement.

Marmol plays in Spain’s second division, and the 24-year-old is older than Dragusin, making the potential deal make no sense at all.
Tottenham turn cheap as Marmol’s £10m release clause eyed up
Van de Ven’s future isn’t secure at Tottenham, with talk of the Dutchman moving on to better things at the end of this season, which stresses the importance for Spurs to have contingency plans.
According to Sports Boom, Marmol’s release clause is £10million, and it could be triggered by the Lilywhites in the event of Dragusin’s departure.

£10m looks like a good price for a player that Tottenham want to sign, but the problem is Marmol is an unknown who hasn’t exactly been pulling up any trees anywhere.
The centre-half is well into his professional career, ahead of Dragusin even, but sits in Spain’s second tier, and was a part of Las Palmas’ relegation from La Liga last campaign.
Spurs need to get these two transfers right, because if not, the Lilywhites will be setting themselves up for disaster in the future.
