Tottenham line up deal for second Liverpool star after Andy Robertson
Andy Robertson may not be the only Liverpool star moving to Tottenham this winter.
Tottenham are in desperate need of two things: to sack Thomas Frank, and to bring in quality players to help them progress up the Premier League table.
As of now, neither of those things have really happened, with Conor Gallagher and Brazilian defender Souza the only two players to have made the move to North London in January.
Spurs have until 7pm on 2 February to wrap up any winter transfer business, and they are preparing a double swoop on Liverpool for a combined fee in the region of £33million.

Tottenham want to sign Liverpool midfielder
First and foremost, Tottenham have shown a keen interest in signing Robertson, with a deal likely to cost them in the region of £3m, given his contract situation.
However, a report from TeamTalk states that Spurs are also looking into the possibility of signing his Merseyside teammate, Curtis Jones.
Jones has started just 10 of the 20 Premier League games in which he has made an appearance this season, with several players ahead of him in the pecking order.
The report claims that the 24-year-old could soon be the subject of a £30m bid from the North Londoners, who are in desperate need of more winter arrivals.
Jones’ versatility has arguably been his own downfall at Liverpool under Arne Slot, and a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could change that for the better.

Liverpool’s stance will be clear after what Arne Slot said about Curtis Jones
Despite having been a bit-part player under the Dutchman this season, Jones has come in for plenty of praise from him this season.
Back in December, Slot said: “He always wants to have the ball no matter what the situation is. That is 99 out of 100 times very positive. Sometimes it is also smarter to maybe stay away from the ball or not bring yourself into a difficult situation.
“I think the first and most positive thing for him is that he’s able to stay fit for four or five games in a row now, and he’s played 90 minutes every single time.”
Liverpool themselves are in a tough predicament, having suffered a 3-2 defeat against Bournemouth last time out, taking them down to sixth.
And when taking that into account, it’s hard to see the Reds allowing one of their squad players to depart, unless they were able to bring in a replacement.
However, with just over a week left of the winter transfer window, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to.
