Tottenham vs Crystal Palace preview: Team news, lineups, prediction
Tottenham will be desperate to secure their first Premier League win of 2026 in Thursday’s clash against Crystal Palace.
Igor Tudor’s first game in charge ended in a 4-1 loss to Arsenal, and he followed that up with an equally poor result, losing 2-1 to Fulham.
Not only is he already under pressure, but the toxicity within the fanbase is at an all-time high, and it would be unforgivable for Tottenham to drop even more points at home.
As for Crystal Palace, they’ve won two of their last four league matches, but come into the match off the back of a 2-1 loss to Man United last Sunday.

Head-to-head
In the reverse fixture, Archie Gray scored the winner as Spurs saw out a 1-0 victory at Selhurst Park in December.
That is Tottenham‘s last win in the Premier League, which shows how poor they’ve been since the turn of the year.
Spurs have won 16 of their last 21 Premier League matches against Crystal Palace, although they have lost two of their last three against the Eagles.
Overall, Tottenham have beaten the Eagles 38 times, lost 15 meetings and drawn 15 matches in their all-time head-to-head record.
Team news and predicted lineups
Spurs still have nine players injured, with Cristian Romero also serving the last game of his four-match suspension.
Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani could both drop out of the team after poor performances at Craven Cottage, with Richarlison and Mathys Tel taking their places in the team.
Tudor could freshen up the midfield by bringing in Pape Matar Sarr to replace Yves Bissouma, while the return of Kevin Danso is definitely welcome, as he would come into the side for Radu Dragusin.
Palace currently have the likes of Jean Philippe-Mateta and Eddie Nketiah on the sidelines, while Maxence Lacroix is also suspended after being sent off against Man United.

Tottenham predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Danso, Van de Ven, Gray; Palhinha, Gallagher, Sarr; Simons, Tel, Richarlison
Crystal Palace predicted XI: Henderson; Canvot, Richards, Riad; Munoz, Wharton, Kamada, Mitchell; Sarr, Guessand; Strand Larsen
How I predict Tottenham vs Crystal Palace to finish
Although it seems foolish to predict a win for Spurs, there are a few reasons to be optimistic.
Not only have Palace been incredibly inconsistent this campaign, but they are without their best defender against Spurs.
Danso’s return will give Tottenham some solidity in defence, while Richarlison’s goal against Fulham gave the impression of a striker who is incredibly hungry to lead his side to safety.
Therefore, a 2-1 win for Spurs could be the most likely outcome, and if they do secure all three points, then they will take a huge step towards achieving Premier League survival.
