Trabzonspor 3-1 Konyaspor: Paul Onuachu joins club elite group with brace in Black Sea Storm win
Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu scored a brace for Trabzonspor to help them to a 3-1 victory over Konyaspor at Papara Park, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onuachu has been in fine form this season, and he maintained his place in Trabzonspor’s starting eleven when they welcomed Konyaspor in their 14th Super Lig game of the campaign.
The Black Sea Storm were the favourites heading into the fixture, but they conceded after 17 minutes, after Okay Yokuslu inadvertently put the ball in his own net.

Trabzonspor bounced back pretty well, controlling the possession, but they just failed to create clear-cut chances. However, they were bailed out by Ernest Muci, who won a penalty in the 39th minute. And despite a long VAR review, the referee stuck to his decision.
Onuachu took responsibility and calmly dispatched the ball from the spot, to restore parity after 43 minutes. That ensured that the first half ended 1-1.
In the second half, the Black Sea Storm increased the ante. It took them just five minutes into the half to take the lead for the first time.

This time, it was just a class play from the Trabzon kings. After a well-worked passage of play from the midfield to the final third, Mustafa Eskihellac sent a low cross into the box, which Onuachu sent into the bottom-right corner of the net to make it 2-1.
Then, just six minutes later, Muci scored the third for Trabzonspor to make it 3-1. The Black Sea Storm could have scored more goals, but they failed to convert their opportunities, so it ended 3-1 after 90 minutes.
