View: 3/10 abysmal, 9/10 stuns - Everton player ratings vs Man City
Everton conceded a last-minute equaliser in a 3-3 draw at home to Man City.
Having failed to win any of their last three, there was plenty of pressure on Everton to get something out of the game, and despite a dreadful first half, they managed to do just that, and in spectacular fashion.
Jeremy Doku opened the scoring after 43 minutes, with Man City’s 12th shot of the first half, which was nearly a quarter of as many passes as the Toffees completed that half.
However, two goals from Thierno Barry and a header from Jake O’Brien flipped the game on its head in the second half, completely against the general run of play.
Erling Haaland pulled one back for the visitors, and it looked like it would be too little too late, but a 98th-minute dagger from Doku prevented Everton from taking all three points.

Thierno Barry takes his chance vs Man City
Thierno Barry has had plenty of criticism this season, and the majority of it has been warranted, hence his omission from the starting 11.
David Moyes rolled the dice with the Toffees chasing the game, and Barry’s introduction certainly paid off, with the forward scoring twice.
vs Man City Barry Passes completed 2 Goals 2 xG 1.33 Duels won 4
Neither goal was one to get you off your seat, but they were both well taken by Barry, and in the context of the game, absolutely vital.
He was brought on to bring some attacking threat, and he did just that.
Beto stuns at Hill Dickinson, but not in a good way
Beto has been in fine form recently, and that has left supporters stunned.
Evertonians were left stunned again on Monday night, but for all of the wrong reasons, with the striker quite honestly awful against Man City.
He failed to complete a single pass in the first half, and it took him until the 59th minute to complete one, which would be his only one of the game.

On top of that, his only two efforts in the game were blocked minutes before he was booked for a needless foul on Marc Guehi.
Everton would not be in the European race without his recent goals, and they certainly won’t be for much longer if that performance is repeated again this season, with City keeping him at arm’s length throughout.
And to make matters worse, Barry’s brace will have done him no favours.
