Instead of letting the incident bring him down, the 26-year-old has taken his game up a level, with another inspirational display at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

McNeil returned to the fold in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United at St James’ Park and has given Moyes every reason to stick by him for the upcoming matches.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall continues game-changing form vs Burnley

Dewsbury-Hall has arguably been the best signing of last summer at the Merseyside outfit.

While Jack Grealish has been magnificent, the former Chelsea ace has returned to his best at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The 27-year-old scored for the second consecutive Premier League game as he continues to be a game-changer for Everton.

Dewsbury-Hall’s passing and dribbling helped the Blues gain control of the midfield and he now certainly has a case to make the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.
