View: Door opens for Everton to seal incredible signing as player submits transfer request

Everton’s transfer surge for Youssef En-Nesyri is back on, with his move to Juventus seemingly fizzling out.

David Moyes craves a striker in the remaining days of the transfer window to provide Thierno Barry with competition.

Beto could leave the Toffees before the end of the window, as Everton have placed En-Nesyri firmly in their transfer thoughts.

Juventus were ahead of Everton for En-Nesyri, but as a proposed loan-to-buy move to the Italian giants seems to have stalled, it looks like the Blues could be about to land their man.

Fenerbahce offer Youssef En-Nesyri to clubs after transfer request, Everton interested

As highlighted by Sofascore, En-Nesyri has been on fire throughout his time in Turkey, and it’s no surprise that the forward is attracting such interest.

The Friedkin Group have money to spend this month, but have so far kept Moyes waiting for a new player as injury problems stack up for the Blues.

On Monday, it was reported that Everton are still interested in En-Nesyri and have made an approach for the former Sevilla man, with additional speculation adding to his inevitable Merseyside arrival.

According to Fenerbahce reporter, Doruk Tecimer, En-Nesyri has submitted a transfer request to his club, for a permanent exit, not a loan.

Currently, no official permanent offers have been tabled; however, it’s been suggested that multiple clubs have now been informed of the striker’s availability, as Fenerbahce now await responses.

The Toffees have most likely been offered the Moroccan, and are undoubtedly one of the most attractive sides out of the host of teams interested, due to their Premier League status.

What En-Nesyri can offer Everton over Thierno Barry

If En-Nesyri were to join the Toffees in January, Beto’s exit would then almost certainly leave the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Toffees don’t have all the finances in the world, and the Fenerbahce forward won’t come cheap.

Barry has been slowly improving for Everton, and En-Nesyri’s potential arrival could mean that the former’s playing chances could suffer.

Barry has a raw physicality and pace about him, but lacks composure at times. Whereas En-Nesyri is an accomplished number nine who thrives on chances inside the box.

The 28-year-old is in his prime, and chances seem to find his feet or head regularly. Moyes could soon benefit from En-Nesyri’s arrival, but he could have a difficult decision to make with Barry.
