View: ENIC must sack Thomas Frank now as Tottenham hit horrific 28-year low
Tottenham are on the verge of disaster under Thomas Frank as the situation goes from bad to worse in North London.
Frank remains under huge sack pressure after Spurs could only manage a 2-2 draw with relegation-bound Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.
Micky Van de Ven put the Lilywhites ahead in the first half, but goals from Axel Tuanzebe and Lyle Foster turned the game completely on its head.
Cristian Romero’s 90th-minute equaliser rescued a point for the visitors, but Frank was still roundly booed by the away end at full-time.
Thomas Frank is the worst Tottenham manager since 1998
After a positive start at Tottenham, it has gone downhill very quickly for Frank.
Spurs have been abysmal for the last three months, and there are no signs of improvement at the moment.
After failing to pick up three points against 19th-placed Burnley, Frank’s side have now only won two of their last 14 Premier League games.

To add salt to the wound, the former Brentford boss is now statistically the worst Tottenham manager in the last 28 years.
Since his move to North London in the summer, Frank has a points per game ratio of 1.34.
That is lower than every single permanent Spurs boss since Christian Gross (1.27), who was sacked in September 1998 after just 30 games in charge.
ENIC must make Thomas Frank decision now
ENIC acquired a controlling stake in Tottenham back in 2001, meaning that Frank is statistically their worst-ever manager.
However, the 52-year-old is still trying to remain positive on the outside, reiterating that the performance levels are not too far from where they need to be.
Speaking after the defeat to Burnley, Frank said that his side were “good”, comments that are unlikely to go down well with Spurs fans.
There has been nothing in the last couple of months to suggest that the Dane is the right man to turn the situation around, and it is now down to the higher-ups at Tottenham to make the right call.
ENIC, along with Johan Lange and Vinai Venkatesham, must dismiss Frank and bring in someone with the capabilities to get the best out of the Spurs squad.
