View: Everton outcast should be Moyes' favourite, ranks behind only Man City star for key PL metric
Tyler Dibling has been an outcast under David Moyes at Everton so far.
The former Southampton man was signed in the summer for a fee of around £40million, but his game time has been limited so far.
He has only featured 17 times for a total of 513 minutes in his first season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, which will frustrate the 20-year-old.
When he does get on the pitch, he wins 7.52 ground duels per 90 minutes, as data from Sofascore reveals.
Everton fans are yet to see the best of Dibling, but surely he will go up in the manager’s estimations if he sees this evidence.

Who does Dibling rank behind in the Premier League?
Everton boss Moyes likes his wingers to contribute defensively, and the stats show that the youngster is capable of doing so.
He ranks behind only Manchester City star Jeremy Doku (8.63 per 90 minutes) for the key metric among midfielders with more than five appearances in the division, showing his work rate.

That should make him a favourite of the Scotsman, but so far that has not been the case.
How has Dibling performed so far for Everton?
Dibling has played in 14 Premier League matches so far in his time with the Blues, and he has failed to score or assist.
He has only started four times in the top-flight, but has recorded 0.3 shots per game, creating 0.20 in expected goals.
The former Saints star averages 0.3 key passes and has created 0.16 expected assists for the Toffees since joining.
Dibling’s stats this season Premier League Played(Started) 14 (4) Shots per game 0.3 Expected goals 0.20 Key passes 0.3 Expected assists 0.16 Pass accuracy 86% Possession lost 4.2
He seems to be comfortable in possession, as he has an 86 per cent passing accuracy and loses the ball just 4.2 times per game.
He totals 0.4 interceptions, 0.5 tackles, 1.6 ball recoveries and 0.3 clearances per game, once again, emphasising his willingness to get back and help out.
The data suggests that there is a player in there, and perhaps that will be apparent if he is handed an opportunity in the near future by Moyes.
He will just have to be patient, the Scotsman is known not to throw his young players in at the deep end and ease them into action, as frustrating as that may be for the England Under-21 international.
