View: Exit-linked Rangers star surely going nowhere after latest social media activity
Emmanuel Fernandez has been heavily linked with a Rangers exit in the summer.
The Nigeria defender has garnered significant interest from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund in recent months.
It is understood that the Gers are braced for a significant offer and recognise that their resolve will be tested when the transfer market reopens.
However, the 24-year-old’s latest social media antics suggest that he is keen to remain in Govan after telling Mikey Moore to stay.
Rangers fans would love to have both of them as part of Danny Rohl‘s squad next season.

The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
What did Fernandes say to Moore after Rangers win?
Fernandez took to Instagram after Rangers’ win over Falkirk, crediting the supporters for the side’s turnaround in the contest.
Taking to Instagram on 12 April, he said: “What A Game. Your Support Kept Us In It.”
Mikey Moore commented on his post, saying: “Some player.”
To which Fernandez responded, tagging the Tottenham loanee and saying: “sign x.”
Surely a man who plans to leave shortly is not telling another player to sign for the club, that would make absolutely no sense.
Why Rangers stay makes sense for all parties
Gers supporters will be desperate to keep the exit-linked defender around, as he has been a key part of Rohl’s side’s run towards the league title, with them sitting one point behind Hearts with five matches to play.
Fernandez has featured 22 times in the Scottish Premiership, and he has proved a goal threat with five strikes to his name.
He averages 1.88 tackles, 1.49 interceptions, 5.20 recoveries and 7.38 clearances on a per 90-minute basis, according to data from Fotmob.
He is particularly good when it comes to duels, winning 68.6 per cent on the ground and 72.1 per cent in the air.

His latest activity on the internet suggests that he is happy to stick around, and if that is the case, it will music to his manager, fellow players and fans’ ears.
He has settled into Scottish football brilliantly, and another season in G51 would only increase his value and the list of potential suitors.
Even if he wants to move on eventually, it would be a wise move to stick around with the Light Blues for the next campaign, and it seems like that is what he intends to do.
