View: Friedkins could relegate one of Everton's PL rivals as verbal offer made elsewhere for transfer
The Friedkin Group are not only looking to do winter transfer business at Everton.
Despite the fact that the transfer window has been open for 26 days, Everton are one of only a few Premier League clubs that have yet to make any additions to their squad.
The Toffees have tied James Garner down to a new contract, which is arguably better than any transfer business they could do this month, though David Moyes will still be hoping to see some movement in the coming days.
With that said, TFG are working on a deal to sign a Premier League winger, and while it may not be for Everton, it will still be of concern to one of their league rivals.

Crysencio Summerville could leave West Ham this week
The Friedkin Group could easily be accused of lacking ambition at Everton so far this winter, with Moyes forced to work with a barebones squad to secure results as of late.
However, the same cannot be said about Roma, who are also owned by the Friedkins.
The Italian outfit have already sealed three new transfers this window, with Aston Villa’s Donyell Malen one of those having made the move.
Now, the Friedkins have identified West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville as a target for Roma, with Florian Plettenberg reporting via Sky Sports that a verbal offer has been made to the Premier League side.
Tottenham have also been linked with the former Leeds star over the last week.
With Lucas Paqueta on his way out, Summerville’s exit would add more misery to the Hammers, who would almost certainly be forced to succumb to relegation if a deal were to materialise ahead of the final few days of the transfer window.
Who could Everton sign before transfer deadline?
If the Toffees are to bolster their squad, they are running out of time to do so.
The transfer window slams shut at 7pm on Monday, 2 February, leaving Everton with less than a week to finalise any deals, of which none seem to be imminent.
However, Everton have been linked with Femi Seriki, with a deal looking unlikely for Genoa’s Brook Norton-Cuffy.
There has been interest shown in Patrick Wimmer among several other wide players, showcasing that this may be an area that the Toffees look to recruit in over the next week or so.
