View: Igor Tudor has no way back as supercomputer updates Tottenham's relegation chances

Tottenham Hotspur‘s chances of staying in the Premier League have taken a huge blow after their 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awoniyi scored the goals to completely deflate the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and leave Igor Tudor in a world of trouble.

Although the fans assembled before the game to create a raucous atmosphere for the players, they were badly let down in what was an abject performance.

Spurs are now without a league win in 13 games, their longest streak in the top flight in 91 years, which shows why so many fans are keen to see Tudor sacked already.

And Tottenham’s loss to Nottingham Forest leaves them in 17th place, as their fears of suffering relegation have increased.

What is Tottenham’s latest relegation prediction?

West Ham’s 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa means Spurs stay out of the drop zone, but their predicament at the foot of the table has inevitably worsened.

After Tottenham secured a point against Liverpool last weekend, the possibility of them dropping down to the Championship was 14.90.

However, as per Opta Analyst‘s updated standings, the Lilywhites’ relegation chances now stand at a 23.33 per cent likelihood.

West Ham, Burnley and Wolves are expected to go down, with the Hammers’ chances listed at 58.75 per cent.

However, Spurs have the worst home record in the top flight this season, losing 10 of their 16 matches in N17.

Tottenham have won just 30 points from 31 Premier League games this season – accounting for three points per win, this is their joint-lowest return after 31 games of a league campaign, after doing so in 1914-15 (30).

Spurs need to improve in many different aspects, but it’s their home form that has been the most worrying.

Why Tottenham’s remaining home games will define their season

With seven games to go, Tottenham have just three matches left to play in N17.

They will host Brighton, relegation rivals Leeds, and Everton on the final day of the season, which could determine their fate in the top flight.

While their away matches will be important, Spurs know that winning all of these games will keep them safe from the drop.

All three sides have spent a lot less money on their squads, which shows how Tottenham would typically be considered as favourites for each encounter.

Although no match will be straightforward, the fans will create an atmosphere that should motivate the players to finally get their act together.

But if Tudor’s side perform in the same manner as they did against Forest, then they can expect to lose each of their remaining games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and ultimately suffer relegation.

There may be no way back for Tudor already.
