View: McNeil surely set for Everton exit before 2 Feb as Moyes eyes Premier League bagsman
Dwight McNeil’s time at Everton could come to an end before the winter transfer window slams shut.
McNeil has been poor for Everton so far this season, picking up just one goal contribution from his 13 Premier League appearances.
Moyes has been forced to utilise the 26-year-old in recent weeks, with Iliman Ndiaye away at the Africa Cup of Nations exposing the lack of depth the Scot’s squad.
However, the Toffees may finally be able to move on McNeil after it emerged that they are tracking a Premier League star.

Everton make move for Harry Wilson
Everton are in the race for Fulham attacker Harry Wilson, and have made their interest in the Welshman clear to the West London side.
Wilson’s contact at Craven Cottage expires at the end of the season, and talks over a new deal have now stalled.
The 28-year-old is reportedly not willing to commit to Fulham while Marco Silva’s future at the club is still up in the air.
It means that the Toffees have a chance to swoop in and make a decisive approach for Wilson before the end of the winter transfer window.
They will face competition from the likes of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Brentford though, all of who are keen on the Fulham man.
Harry Wilson will end Dwight McNeil’s Everton career
With Everton in pursuit of Wilson, McNeil’s future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium is in serious doubt.
Wilson can play in the number 10 position, but also often operates off the right-hand side for Fulham.
McNeil will already drop down the pecking order with Ndiaye coming back from AFCON, and would fall completely out of contention if the Toffees signed the Welsh star.
There is little competition between Wilson and McNeil though, with the Fulham man far superior across a range of statistics.

Wilson has scored seven goals and picked up four assists in the Premier League this season, as well as recording one key pass per game.
Compare that to McNeil, who only has one top-flight goal contribution in his 13 appearances, and it is clear that Moyes’ side should be looking to replace the former Burnley man.
