David Moyes may have all the motivation he needs already ahead of Everton facing Fulham at Craven Cottage next month.

Everton are due to travel Fulham on 7 February following games against Leeds United and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Moyes’ immediate focus will be on Everton’s clash with Leeds at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night.

The games are coming thick and fast, with that trip to West London to take on Fulham set to be Everton’s third of four games in the space of 15 days.

Fulham make ‘Toffees Crumble’ joke at Everton’s expense

While Everton have a couple of days to wait before facing Leeds, Fulham were in home action against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

And with Everton being next up at Craven Cottage, Fulham used the game as a chance to advertise tickets for the clash with Moyes‘ men in their matchday programme.

As shared by journalist Paul Brown via X, Fulham used an image of Tom Cairney and the text “Toffees Crumble” in a joke that Moyes has been urged to pin in the dressing room.

It is all light-hearted, of course, but Moyes now has further motivation – if it were needed – to come away from West London with all three points.

Moyes has bigger fish to fry right now at Everton

Everton have just nine days left to conclude their winter transfer business, and so far it has been extremely quiet on that front.

Harry Tyrer’s move to Cardiff City remains the only permanent transfer activity Everton have announced this month.

However, there could soon be some movement as Tim Iroegbunam is wanted by Lazio and Beto by Fenerbahce.

It is incoming business Everton fans will be concerning themselves with more, though, with Moyes no doubt desperate for some more additions.

It is over to the Friedkins to back the Scotsman before 2 February by bringing in at least one top-quality addition that can slot straight into the XI.

But as the days pass until the window closes, it is looking increasingly likely that it will all end in disappointment for the Toffees.
