Danny Rohl could give Andreas Skov Olsen his debut when Rangers host Dundee on Sunday.

The Bears sit third in the Scottish Premiership and have managed to drag themselves back into the title race under Rohl.

Up next is a Dundee side that sits ninth in the table, and the Light Blues will certainly fancy their chances at Ibrox.

Skov Olsen was announced as a new Rangers player before they beat Annan Athletic 5-0 in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on 16 January.

After missing Rangers’ 1-0 win over Ludogorets Razgrad on Thursday, the 26-year-old could be among the two changes Rohl makes to his starting lineup for the match against Steven Pressley’s side.

Andreas Skov Olsen to make his debut at Ibrox, Danny Rohl makes two changes

The Dane has joined on loan for the rest of the season from German side Wolfsburg, with there being an option to sign him permanently for £8.6million.

Skov Olsen certainly joins Rangers with an impressive reputation after a successful spell at Club Brugge before his move to Germany.

He fits perfectly in the right wing position, meaning Mikey Moore would drop out of the team.

Moore had a poor game against Ludogorets, and there is no doubt that Rohl will be itching to give his new star man his debut in front of the home fans.

The other change that could be made is James Tavernier returning to the side in place of Max Aarons.

The 34-year-old was rested in the Europa League, although given his impressive record in the league, it seems evident that he’ll be reinstated into the team.

With Hearts playing Celtic on Sunday, a win against Dundee is the perfect opportunity for the Bears to close the six-point gap on the league leaders.

Nasser Djiga is given the opportunity to prove himself

With John Souttar, Derek Cornelius, and Dujon Sterling all out injured, Nasser Djiga is expected to start alongside Emmanuel Fernandez in defence.

Despite impressing against Ludogorets, Djiga’s loan move to G51 has been disastrous, to say the least.

Critical mistakes in certain matches have cost Rangers, and with such a pivotal run of games ahead, the Burkina Faso international needs to be faultless against Dundee.

Luckily for him, he’ll be alongside Fernandez, who has been a rock at the back over the last two months and has proved his critics wrong with recent performances.

Djiga will be hoping to do the same as the Bears aim to keep a fifth consecutive clean sheet against in all competitions on Sunday.
