Wenham: Tottenham transfer has potential to become 'complete disaster' as negotiations held
Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky could be set to leave this month.
Kinsky has not been handed many opportunities under Thomas Frank, which has hampered his development.
Guglielmo Vicario is the undisputed number one at Tottenham, and that does not look like it will change anytime soon.
Therefore, the Czech Republic international may be allowed to leave this month, with an utterly bizarre destination.

Tottenham could seal ridiculous loan swap deal involving Antonin Kinsky
Kinsky could end up joining Tottenham’s rivals West Ham, with Mads Hermansen potentially coming the other way in a loan swap deal.
John Wenham, who runs the popular Lilywhite Rose account on X, believes that it could turn out to be a ridiculous move if Vicario gets injured, and doesn’t particularly like the idea of helping the Hammers.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “I mean, if Vicario didn’t get injured the entire season, I could absolutely see the basis for it, because it would allow Kinsky, who’s 21 years of age, to go out and play senior Premier League football, if there was a guarantee from West Ham that that was going to be the case.
“He was going to be coming in as their number one, and he was going to start playing immediately, because at the moment he’s played two games the entire season for Tottenham, but they need a backup goalkeeper, they need someone to effectively just sit on the bench.
“Tottenham are obviously out of the Carabao Cup, out of the FA Cup; they’ve got fewer games to come in the second half of the season than they had in the first.
Stats (Premier League) Vicario Hermansen Appearances 22 4 Save percentage 66.3% 45% Goals conceded 29 11 Clean sheets 7 1 Errors leading to goal 2 1
“Vicario is perfectly fit at the moment and playing, but it would look a complete disaster if Vicario got injured, and then suddenly we had Mads Hermansen in as the number one.
“Do you know what I mean? If he was just sitting there as a sub-goalkeeper on the bench, then fine, let Kinsky go out and play, I see the logic there, but, you know, any risk that the goalkeeper gets injured, and then you’re starting Mads Hermansen away at the Nou Camp, or away at the Bernabeu, you know, in the Champions League, it would be an absolute disaster potentially.
“I’m also interested in why we’re potentially helping West Ham, you know, we’re only 10 points above them or whatever. You know, I’m not desperate to put out an olive branch to help West Ham, being totally honest.”

Tottenham and West Ham rivalry explained
The rivalry is basically due to the fact that both clubs are based in London, although there is a bit more nuance than that behind it.
The Irons are far more invested in the rivalry, with Spurs fans labelling matches between the sides as ‘West Ham’s cup final’.
In 2011, the Lilywhites bought Jermaine Defoe and Scott Parker from the Hammers and left their fanbase reeling, and it took 14 years for the next piece of business between the clubs.
Tensions were heightened again when Spurs bought Mohammed Kudus in the summer, and the potential Kinsky-Hermansen swap would be the latest surprising development.
