Wilfried Zaha instantly reacts as Marc Guehi officially leaves Crystal Palace for Man City
Marc Guehi officially departed Crystal Palace for Man City on Monday for £20million.
The transfer ends the saga surrounding the former Palace captain, with Guehi being linked to numerous clubs before his move to the Etihad.
With Man City in the race for the Premier League title, the 25-year-old centre-back will be a big boost to Pep Guardiola going into the second half of the season.
However, for Palace, a club already in crisis, it is terrible news, with Wilfried Zaha now reacting as the saga reaches its conclusion.
We can confirm that Marc Guéhi has joined Manchester City on a permanent transfer.

At Palace, there have been few legends bigger than Zaha at the club.
The winger was crucial to keeping the Eagles in the Premier League for years before his departure to Galatasaray in 2023.
While he may not be part of Palace’s squad anymore, the 33-year-old remains up to date with the latest news at the Croydon club.
Therefore, when Guehi announced on his Instagram on 19 January that he had joined Man City, Zaha was quick to comment on the post.
The Palace legend simply put a red love heart emoji as the centre-back completed his move away from Selhurst Park.
Who are Crystal Palace planning to replace Guehi with?
With Guehi now gone, Palace and Oliver Glasner have a massive hole to fill at the back.
While the Eagles have lost some key players in the past, the centre-back could be the most difficult to replace, especially considering the current crisis at the club.
As it stands, Palace are eyeing Hull City’s Charlie Hughes as a potential long-term successor to Guehi.
The Eagles’ scouts have reportedly been keeping an eye on the defender recently, with Hughes now emerging as a top target.
So far this season, the 22-year-old has been a star player at Hull City and has even captained the side on several occasions as they look to return to the Premier League.
However, it remains to be seen if Palace make an official move in the coming weeks for the Tigers defender, with a move for a more experienced centre-back not ruled out by Glasner’s side.
Hopefully, someone will be brought in before the transfer window closes at the start of February.
