'Absolutely raging' - Ferguson shares 'plain and simple' verdict on Rangers situation
Barry Ferguson doesn’t see any reason Rangers supporters shouldn’t get tickets for the final Old Firm derby of the season.
The Gers icon has demanded that Celtic respect the agreement with their Glaswegian rivals regarding allocation for travelling supporters at Parkhead on 10 May.
Ferguson would be absolutely raging if the Govan side’s faithful aren’t given the 2500 seats for what could be a monumental game in the William Hill Premiership title race.
Andrew Cavenagh raised concerns with the SPFL Celtic’s decision to withhold tickets for away supporters and a sub-committee has now been appointed to determine the case.
Danny Rohl dropped three points at home against Motherwell in their first post-split fixture and they can’t afford to lose any more games if they want to keep their hopes of silverware alive this season.

Celtic can’t be serious with Rangers demand for Old Firm clash
Speaking on Five Stars VIP on 28 April, Ferguson said, “I’d be absolutely raging if you don’t get that 2500 allocation. There’s an agreement in place. You’ve got to get the tickets. Rangers have got to get the tickets, plain and simple.”
Celtic have placed conditions on the presence of Gers supporters at the upcoming Old Firm derby.
The Hoops want to have a say on who among the travelling fanbase can use the tickets.

It’s completely ridiculous for the Parkhead hierarchy to dictate what the Light Blues do with their agreement upon allocation.
While the scenes at Ibrox after full-time in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup quarter-final were ugly, the Govan side and their fans as a whole can’t be punished, especially by Celtic.
If the Hoops want to make changes to ticket allocation, they can do so next season instead of barring away fans from coming to Parkhead for a crunch fixture.
Danny Rohl must learn lessons for Hearts and Celtic game
Rangers seemed to be caught off guard by how Jens Berthel Askou set up Motherwell, with the visitors causing chaos on the break.

It felt like Rohl didn’t expect the Steelmen to be willing to sit back and play on the counter, eventually punishing the Gers on three occasions.
While the German manager made effective changes at half-time, the Govan side slipped up in the final minutes to let Motherwell restore their lead.
Rohl has no room for errors now against Hearts and Celtic and it remains to be seen what the 37-year-old head coach has up his sleeves for the games.
