Alan Myers shares if Everton will make more signings as Tyrique George agrees deadline day move
Everton finally look set to kickstart their winter transfer window, only on deadline day.
David Moyes has faced several issues in recent months, with Jack Grealish’s severe foot injury the latest of a long line at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Thankfully, Everton have agreed a loan move for Chelsea winger Tyrique George to replace him.
George will complete his medical on Monday, before his deadline day arrival is confirmed.
But could there be more business done?

Everton transfer plan revealed for Deadline Day
Everton have been reluctant to spend over the past month after a heavy summer transfer window, but sometimes, opportunities arise.
George becoming available was one of those, but it looks as though he’ll be the only new arrival. https://x.com/ALANMYERSMEDIA/status/2018096144010580051
Responding to a fan on X, Alan Myers has shared that he isn’t aware of any other possible new signings that could follow the Chelsea winger through the door.
Tyrique George agrees move, what comes next?
George was wanted by Jose Mourinho at Benfica, so it looks as though Everton have pulled off a real coup by moving ahead of the deadline.
Looking at his stats via Sofascore, it’s clear that George needs somewhere that he can shine, and Moyes could offer that.

Only averaging 46 minutes per appearance, George still manages one shot per game, as well as a decent goal conversion of 27.3 per cent from his chances.
It would have been terrible if Everton’s only business was recalling Harrison Armstrong from Preston, but many fans were starting to think that would be it.
As for exits, not many are expected from Bramley Moore Dock, but Tim Iroegbunam is one name that has been consistently linked with a move away.
Moyes will want to keep his squad together with European football in mind, but after draws against Leeds and Brighton, George’s arrival is a much-welcomed boost.
Hopefully, the winger can explode into life early as Everton look to climb the Premier League table.
