Borussia Dortmund defender Luca Reggiani signs long-term professional contract
Reggiani's first pro deal is reward for a string of impressive performances with the Dortmund first team. The 18-year-old has made four league appearances in recent weeks, including two starts. The BVB U19s captain even wrote his name into the history books as the German top tier's youngest Italian goalscorer on Matchday 26.
"Luca has made great progress, not just in recent weeks but over the past few months," said sporting director Sebastian Kehl. "There's a lot of potential in Luca, and we'll support him in releasing that. We're delighted by his first steps in professional football."
