Celtic boss makes key Iheanacho call ahead of must-win weekend clash
Celtic interim manager Martin O'Neill has made a key admission about Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho ahead of their clash against Hearts tomorrow, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 29-year-old had a good start to life in Scotland before an abrupt hamstring injury against Sturm Graz saw him face his first spell on the sidelines.
Three weeks later, Iheanacho returned to action, but it appeared that the decision was too soon, as the hamstring problem recurred in the League Cup final against St. Mirren.

After five weeks, the former Sevilla striker is back on the grass for the Hoops, and given the injury problems among the club's attackers, he could be in line to feature against Hearts tomorrow.

Iheanacho could play for Celtic against Hearts
Martin O’Neill has been open about the challenge of rushing players back too soon, but aims to have options without unnecessary risk.
The Northern Irishman confirmed Iheanacho is back in training, but was careful commenting about the striker's chances of featuring tomorrow.
“He [Iheanacho] trained today, yes. I think that might be his second day,” the 73-year-old said in his pre-game press conference.

“He didn’t travel with us; he’s been doing some training, and he did fine today.
“I’m glad to see him back; that helps us if that’s the case.
“It might be a bit of a stretch to start him in a game at the moment, but at least he’s going to be available,” the former Nottingham Forest coach concluded.

Celtic are currently six points behind Hearts on the SPFL table, and could reduce the deficit if they secure three points against Derek McInnes' side.
