Celtic transfer news: Viljami Sinisalo should look to quit Parkhead if the latest Mathew Ryan rumours are true
Celtic have been linked with Mathew Ryan ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The goalkeeper has been previously linked to the Hoops, and currently plays for Levante UD in La Liga.
These rumours have come amid Kasper Schmeichel’s expected departure in the summer after his season-ending injury.
However, for Viljami Sinisalo, it will be a big blow, with the Finland international proving to be a reliable keeper in recent months.
As a result, he could now look to quit the club if Ryan is brought in, editing Celtic’s transfer plans.

Viljami Sinisalo will not be impressed with Matt Ryan links
Sinisalo has been great for Celtic since he came into the starting XI.
The goalkeeper has been key to several wins in the Scottish Premiership, and while he is yet to keep a clean sheet, this is mainly down to the defence in front of him.
Viljami Sinisalo’s Scottish Premiership stats Per 90 minutes Saves 2.33 Save percentage 60.9% Goals conceded 1.50 Goals prevented -0.24 Errors led to goals 0.00
However, Voetbal 24 on 8 April have now claimed that Ryan is a target of Celtic, as well as Club Brugge, ahead of the summer transfer window.
The former Arsenal and Roma keeper has impressed this season despite Levante’s position in the relegation zone.
However, with his contract expiring in the summer, there is a chance for Celtic to make a move.
Considering his CV and the fact that he is a starter in La Liga, it can be presumed that if the Hoops win the race to his signature, he will become the number one.
As a result, Sinisalo will be fuming and could look to quit Celtic in the hunt for regular first-team football.
What other goalkeepers are Celtic linked to?
Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Celtic are eyeing a move for Jon McCracken.
The Dundee goalkeeper has been one of the most impressive players in his position this season, and has been a key reason why the club are above the relegation zone.
Against Celtic on the weekend, he continued to impress, making numerous saves to keep the Dark Blues in the match before they lost 2-1.
However, it remains to be seen if the Hoops will make any moves for a first-team goalkeeper in the summer, given Sinisalo’s form.
