Tottenham need more quality in the defensive unit, especially with players like Cristian Romero linked with an exit. They need to tighten up at the back as well. They have been quite vulnerable defensively, which is one of the main reasons they are fighting for survival in the Premier League.
It will be interesting to see if they can secure safety in the top flight and sign the 25-year-old in the summer.
According to reports from TEAMtalk, Roberto De Zerbi is ready to reunite with Dutch defender at Tottenham, and the presence of the Italian manager at the home could give the North London club an advantage in the transfer race.
