Daniel Farke gets '8/10' Leeds United ratings verdict - Ex-CEO impressed by what he's seen
Daniel Farke has proved doubters wrong and is the right manager to continue to lead Leeds United forward.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, who is backing Leeds to remain in the Premier League.
The Whites are in a tight battle with Tottenham, West Ham and Nottingham Forest to avoid relegation to the Championship.
Staying in the top flight was the remit for Farke at the start of the season, whilst he has also led the Yorkshire club to their first FA Cup semi-final in 39 years.
Leeds travel to rivals Manchester United in their next Premier League fixture, looking for their first league win in six games.

Leeds rewarded for sticking by Daniel Farke
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – would give Farke an eight out of 10 for his job at Leeds this season.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness believes Leeds have been “unlucky” not to have more points on the board.
Games Managed 36 Games Won 11 Games Drawn 12 Games Lost 13
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Daniel Farke, if I remember rightly, when we’ve spoken about him at the start of the season, there were people talking about him getting fired.
“We stuck by him, and we said that they should stay there and stick with him and we were right. I’ve seen a lot of things saying like manager of the season. I wouldn’t go that far because they’re still down at the bottom, but I’d give him eight out of 10.
“If you think five out of 10 is mid-table, then I think eight out of 10 is showing just how he’s built that squad spirit, and he’s done a great job. I like him, he’s an honest manager, he’s talented, and he’s been unlucky in a few results in some games.
“They’ve been unlucky to have floated down towards the bottom. I think that he is the right manager for Leeds at the moment to keep them up, and I think he will.”
Leeds make Brenden Aaronson transfer plan
Sources have told Football Insider that Leeds want midfielder Brenden Aaronson to sign a new contract with the club this summer.
The 25-year-old will enter the final year of his current Leeds deal this summer, meaning there is expected to be interest in the American international.
Aaronson has emerged as a key player under Farke this season, and has contributed four goals and three assists in the Premier League.
