Everton announce loan exit for U21 int'l in frantic end to transfer window
Everton have had a busy deadline day, with numerous ins and outs coming through in the final hours.
A deal for Tyrique George is set to be sealed, with the youngster joining on an initial loan from Chelsea. While in the other direction, Dwight McNeil is seeking to join Crystal Palace.
Both of those deals are still in the balance, with deal sheets submitted for both but no official confirmation either way.
Overall, it has been a frantic day for the Toffees, and amid the chaos there has been another exit at the club.

Jack Patterson leaves Everton on loan
Nathan Patterson’s future at Everton looked to be away from the club all window, but Patterson is now staying for the remainder of the season.
However, a move for the Scotsman’s namesake has now been confirmed by Everton.
Under-21s midfielder Jack Patterson has left Everton on loan, joining Polish side LKS Lodz for the rest of the campaign. The Polish football side doe have an option to buy.
LKS Lodz are in the second tier of the Polish football pyramid, and the Blues will be hoping the player gets valuable game time and experience in Poland.
LKS Lodz are currently sat in 11th place in the I Liga table
The 20-year-old has been a regular feature in the youth squads, with 14 appearances across all competitions, and Everton will be hoping this is the right move for this future development.
What has LKS Lodz’s sporting director said about Patterson’s transfer?
After the deal for Patterson was confirmed, the LKS sporting director Radoslaw Mozyrk said: “Jack is a defensive midfielder who understands the game well and is able to make the right decisions in difficult moments.
“He has character and determination, which are important in building a team. We believe he will be a solid asset to the team in this role.”
Competing in a new league will no doubt be invaluable for the player, especially in a professional setting.
At Everton, Patterson had not been given any first-team opportunities. Now, being out on loan, he has the chance to impress.
If he does impress, however, LKS Lodz may take up that option to buy. All around, it could end up being the best move for each party involved.
