Everton deadline round-up at 7pm: Medicals, deal sheets and more as transfers hang in the balance
The winter transfer window has now closed, but Everton still have ongoing deals.
Everton had a remarkably slow start to the winter transfer window, but in typical deadline day fashion, things have heated up.
News broke that Everton has struck an agreement with Chelsea for the signing of Tyrique George, while a handful of players were also linked with late exits.
Now that the window is closed, Goodison News can reveal the deals that are still awaiting confirmation and deal sheets, with announcements potentially to come at any point in the next 24 hours.

Tyrique George transfer latest at Everton
When Jack Grealish was confirmed to be out for the season, Everton had to react.
And after striking an agreement with Chelsea for the loan signing of George, they have done just that, with a medical having already been completed for the 19-year-old, with results believed to have gone as planned.
The teenager is said to be putting the final touches on a move from Stamford Bridge, which also includes the option to buy at the end of the campaign.
It’s unknown if everything was complete for the 7pm deadline, but the Toffees may have submitted a deal sheet to get it over the line if not.
Late Nathan Patterson exit decision made by the Toffees
Everton were very keen on signing Brooke Norton-Cuffy this winter, but the player made it clear that he wanted to stay at Genoa until the end of the campaign.
One of the proposed deals could have seen Nathan Patterson used as a makeweight in a deal to bring the former Arsenal defender back to the Premier League, though that never materialised.
Genoa also made an approach to sign Patterson, but that was turned down by the Merseysiders.
But now, any exit for the right-back has been completely ruled out, with Patterson happy to stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and keep competing for regular minutes.

Dwight McNeil could be set for very late Everton exit
Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye aside, Everton’s wide players have struggled, but none more so than Dwight McNeil.
The former Burnley star has managed just one goal contribution in the Premier League this season, having very rarely showcased that he has the quality to thrive under David Moyes.
As a result, a few whispers started to emerge in the latter stages of the window that he could leave, with it now claimed that McNeil is closing in on a move to Crystal Palace.

The Eagles submitted a £20million bid to bring him to Selhurst Park on a permanent deal, and they are said to be hopeful of the fact that a deal has progressed enough to be concluded.
If a deal were to go through, it would see the Toffees recoup near-enough the full fee that was spent to bring him to Goodison Park from Burnley back in 2022.
But like the George deal, so long as the agreement and paperwork were in place for the deadline, this could be announced at any point in the next 24 hours.
This may require a deal sheet, which would give Crystal Palace a further two hours to complete the move.
