Everton reps sent to Italy to watch midfield gem who's struck gold in 2026 - report
Everton officials reportedly flew out to Italy to watch Cesare Casadei in action for Torino.
The 23-year-old has been in superb form for Torino in 2016, despite not always being a starter, as he has scored four goals in 10 matches.
Casadei is a central midfielder by trade and has experience of English football with Chelsea, Reading and Leicester City.
And the Italy Under-21 international is now on Everton’s transfer radar ahead of the summer window opening.

Everything we know as Everton set sights on Cesare Casadei transfer
As per a report by Tuttosport, Everton officials were recently in attendance for a Torino match to watch Casadei.
The report adds that Everton were not the only Premier League club to have figures in attendance, however, as West Ham were also present.
That could mean a transfer war of sorts for David Moyes with his former club in the summer should Casadei indeed be a serious target.
The one-time Inter youth product, who moved to Chelsea at an early age, has made 44 appearances in his season-and-a-half at Torino.
Casadei was part of Leicester’s Championship-winning squad in 2023-24 and also finished as a runner-up with Italy at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup.

He ended that tournament with both the Golden Ball and the Golden Boot, highlighting his quality at a young age.
Why Everton hold advantage over West Ham for Casadei deal
Everton’s only focus between now and the end of the season is finishing in a European spot in the Premier League.
Whether or not the Toffees are in Europe next season will determine just how much Moyes has available to spend.
That is a nice problem for the Friedkin Group to have, of course, as it means the budget will only go up rather than down.
At West Ham, meanwhile, they cannot really think about spending Premier League riches at this stage as they are deep in relegation trouble, even if they have picked up some form of late.
Everton must therefore take full advantage of that and get to the front of the queue for Casadei if he is indeed a summer target.
