Everton vs Man City injury latest as four set to miss Hill Dickinson Stadium clash
Everton will be without two key players for their crunch Premier League clash with Manchester City.
After looking well set to qualify for Europe next season, two back-to-back defeats, via stoppage-time winners, have seen Everton drop to 11th in the Premier League ahead of matchday 35.
And the tests don’t get much easier for David Moyes‘ side as they host title hopefuls Man City at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday.
Everton are hoping to return to European football for the first time since 2018 and if they want to do that, they may need to get a result against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Both Everton and Man City have injury concerns, and now Goodison News has compiled a list of players that are likely to be unavailable for this highly-awaited contest.

Four players set to miss Everton vs Man City
Man City loanee Jack Grealish is out with a foot injury, a problem he suffered in January that has ruled him out for the season.
The winger would also have been ineligible to face his parent club, while Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite won’t play again this term due to a hamstring issue.

Beto was ruled out of the 2-1 loss to West Ham last Saturday due to concussion but Moyes suggested he will be available this time round.
He said on Friday: “Yes, [Beto] has had to go through the protocol for concussion, which was correct, so he’s gone through that period and he’s been training.”
For City, the visitors are expected to be without Josko Gvardiol (leg fracture) and Ruben Dias (thigh) and Rodri (groin) may be touch and go, too.
Guardiola added: “[Rodri] is getting better. Still he hasn’t trained so we will see in the next few days. Always I am confident.”
Everton at risk of undoing positive season
For much of 2026, Everton were sitting eighth in the Premier League, just behind Brentford in the race for the Conference League qualification spot.
But one too many draws and not enough wins has seen the chasing pack catch them in the final stretch of the season.
Everton were too passive at West Ham but in their final fixtures, Moyes’ side have to take the handbrake off.
If the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth, Chelsea, and co win this weekend, that could be curtains for the Toffees heading off on a European tour next term.
