Exclusive: Wolves set sights on 'next Mateus Mane' who's scored four goals in his last five
Wolves are keeping close tabs on Briton Ferry teenage striker Ollie Anderson, sources have told Football Insider.
The 18-year-old has attracted the interest of Premier League scouts after impressing for the Welsh Premier League side.
Anderson, who stands at 6ft 4in, has been in outstanding form, scoring four in his last five games for Briton Ferry at senior level.
After Wolves’ phenomenal success recruiting Mateus Mane from non-league Rochdale, Anderson is seen as the next lower-level gem they could land to develop into a first-team star.
Football Insider revealed in January that Wolves plan to build their team around Mane, and will attempt to fend off any interest in the 18-year-old.

Wolves prepare for the Championship with youth prioritised
Wolves have also been linked with a move for Kieron Bowie, with Hibernian expected to demand around £5million for the 23-year-old.
Decision-makers at Molineux already appear to be preparing for relegation to the Championship, despite a strong few weeks.
Rob Edwards‘ team are unbeaten in their last five games across all competitions, and beat West Ham at the start of the year to earn their first Premier League win of the campaign.
To maintain their place in the top flight would require a great escape even more impressive than Leicester City‘s iconic 2014-15 end-of-the-season run, however, and Wolves are not getting carried away.
Instead, Edwards will hope to see his team fight towards the end of the season, leaving them in a strong position to come back up next season.
Keeping Mane will be part of that, but new additions will be as well, and Anderson’s identification is a part of that.
The young striker only recently made his breakthrough for Briton Ferry, but Wolves’ interest exemplifies just how impressive he has been.
The stats behind Mateus Mane’s breakthrough campaign
Mane was an unknown figure just a month or so ago, failing to make the first team squad until the defeat to Chelsea in November.
But in the past few weeks, the 18-year-old has become the talk of the Premier League, now reportedly being tracked by several clubs.

The England youth international, who is also eligible for Portugal, netted against West Ham and Everton, and provided an assist against league leaders Arsenal.
Mane has been fouled 14 times in just his five starts, and also won a penalty against the Hammers. A natural dribbler, the midfielder is superb at using his body to shrug off defenders, and has completed six successful dribbles this season.
Wolves will hope to see him stay at the club in the summer, as they look to build towards their return.
