Exit-linked West Ham star Callum Wilson reacts as Crystal Palace finalise transfer
Callum Wilson has provided his reaction after Marc Guehi completed his £20million move to Man City.
Man City confirmed the signing of Guehi on Monday, with Pep Guardiola keen to respond to several injuries within his squad.
Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias are expected to miss much of the remaining season through injury, while Nathan Ake and John Stones continue to struggle with consistent issues.
Wilson’s future at West Ham has been unclear, with the striker having reportedly been in discussions to cut his contract at the London Stadium short.
However, after the 33-year-old bundled in the winner as West Ham beat Tottenham 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, he now looks more likely to stay put.

Callum Wilson reacts to Marc Guehi transfer
Several clubs were linked with Guehi, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and even Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Liverpool had come closest to signing him in the summer, with the defender reportedly having been pictured in training gear before the move broke down.
The Reds were expected to return for the England international this year but, along with several other clubs, were hoping to sign him on a free transfer this summer.
Man City have instead jumped the queue by offering a deal that suits all parties.
Crystal Palace will receive £20m for a player who was set to leave for free, Guehi will achieve a move to a club set to challenge for the title, with wages expected to surpass £300,000 per week, too, and Man City have alleviated their injury crisis at the back.
The defender took to social media after the move was confirmed, and wrote on Instagram: “Proud. Let’s go Man City. Thank you always to Jesus.”
Wilson liked the post, with the pair having played together for England in 2023’s European qualifiers.
Crystal Palace stars wish Guehi luck
Several players congratulated Guehi on his move to Man City, with some having previously played with the defender before moving on themselves.
Wilfried Zaha wrote: “Good luck my boy!!” The Palace legend left the club in 2023, and is currently on loan at Charlotte FC in the MLS.

Former Eagle Odsonne Edouard also wished Guehi good luck, as well as Tyrick Mitchell.
Guehi’s debut will likely come against Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday, with the defender not eligible to face Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday.
