Expert: Elliot Anderson 'nailed on' to join Man City in the summer
Manchester City are the clear front-runners to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson in the summer transfer window.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, who expects Anderson to be a Man City player next season.
Anderson has attracted interest from multiple Premier League clubs for his performances at the City Ground, whilst he has also earned recognition from England boss Thomas Tuchel.
Man City’s pursuit of Anderson could be boosted if Nottingham Forest suffer relegation from the Premier League this season.

Man City ‘favourites’ to sign Elliot Anderson
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes Anderson will benefit from moving to Man City.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness thinks the transfer is “nailed on” to happen.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Yeah, I think they are favourites. I think the same as Tino Livramento. I think Elliot Anderson is going to be with City next year.
“I think he likes it. I think it’s good. It’s a good fit. I think Pep will do well for him and help him to grow as a player. I think it’ll be good for England as well if he can get into the City team.
“So I think overall it works for everybody and I do expect it to be happening. And that’s one that I would say is nailed on for this summer.”

Bernardo Silva interest builds ahead of expected summer exit
Sources have told Football Insider that Man City captain Bernardo Silva is wanted by PSG when his contract expires at the end of the season.
PSG join Juventus and Benfica in the race for the 31-year-old, who has been at the Etihad since joining from Monaco in 2017.
Silva remains a key figure for Pep Guardiola, starting 25 of Man City’s 29 Premier League games this season in pursuit of the league title.
