Hansa Rostock make Ryan Naderi today as Rangers reportedly chase late multi-million deal
Rangers may not be as close as they hope to landing Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline day.
Danny Rohl wants a new number nine as Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti still raise concerns at Ibrox.
Rangers are in a fight for the Scottish Premiership, and sit just four points behind league leaders Hearts heading into game week 24, with the need for goals crucial for title hopes.
Hansa Rostock rejected an improved £3.1million bid for Naderi on Friday, as the Bears have suffered another setback in their attempts of landing the 22-year-old.

Ryan Naderi starts in Hansa Rostock’s matchday squad on Saturday
As highlighted by Sofascore, Naderi is in top form this season. Hansa Rostock’s stance is that they don’t want to sell their talisman, but the forward has made it clear that he wants the move to Ibrox.
Regardless, the German is remaining professional and loyal to his employers, who are set to take on Ingolstadt in 3.Liga on Saturday.
Hansa Rostock announced their matchday squad ahead of the showdown, and Naderi appears to be in the starting eleven.
Rangers will have to go back to the drawing board and assess whether Naderi is still worth pursuing, with a possibility of signing Leeds United’s Joel Piroe also on the cards.
But time is of the essence for the Bears.
Rangers need to stop wasting their time with Naderi; this is what they should do
There is no time to waste for the Bears, as a striker truly could be the final piece of the puzzle for Rohl.
The Bears have been heavily linked with signing Piroe on loan from Leeds, and that deal may now seem a more achievable one to conclude.

Rangers need to offer Naderi and Hansa Rostock an ultimatum. Andrew Cavenagh should submit one final bid for the forward, no more than £4million. But it needs to be made clear that an answer is required by Sunday at the latest.
If it’s a no, then the Bears should walk away and see what they can do about Piroe, with Southampton’s Cameron Archer also linked with a move to Ibrox.
