“I will never walk alone”: Mohamed Salah bids heartfelt farewell to Liverpool
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has reached an agreement with the club regarding a summer departure.
Liverpool has confirmed the session on the official website, and the Egyptian will move on as a free agent. The 33-year-old has been exceptional since joining Liverpool, and he has broken countless records during his time at Anfield.

Salah has helped Liverpool win every club-level trophy available to him, except the UEFA Europa League. He leaves as one of the club’s most decorated players and one of the greatest players to grace the Premier League.

“Unfortunately the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
“I wanted to start by saying that I never imagined this club, this city, this people would become part of my life. Liverpool is not just a football club, it’s a passion, it’s a history, it’s a spirit, I can’t explain it to anyone not part of this club.
“We celebrated victory. We won the most important trophies. We fought together through the hardest times of our lives. I want to thank everyone who was part of this club throughout my time especially the teammates past and present and to the fans. I don’t have enough words – the support you showed me, to the best time of my career and you stood by me in the toughest times is something I will never forget and something I will take with me always.
“Leaving is never easy. You gave me the best time of my life. I will always be one of you! This club will always be my home, to me and to my family. Thank you for everything. Because of all of you, I will never walk alone.”

It will be a huge responsibility for Liverpool to replace an icon like him, and it remains to be seen whether they can bring in the right additions at the end of the season. It has been a disappointing season for Liverpool and Salah in particular. He has not been at his best, and the time seems right for him to move on to a new challenge.
Liverpool is currently fighting for a place in the top four, and they will be hoping to secure Champions League football for the upcoming campaign. Salah will hope to raise his performance levels and help the team finish the season strongly before his departure.
