Ibrox View: Rangers' transfer hopes could be ruined by managerial change away from Glasgow
Mikey Moore staying at Rangers next season will likely be a priority for the 49ers after his performances this season, but Roberto De Zerbi may prevent the move.
The Italian manager has taken over at Tottenham on a long-term contract as he looks to turn around the North London club’s woes around. His vision for Spurs may include the addition of Moore within the squad.
For Rangers, they will be looking on closely, with the Lilywhites’ final league position having the chance to decide whether an extension comes by.
It was previously said if Tottenham were relegated, the Gers’ chances would be made slimmer.
However, that may not be the case anymore, with new manager De Zerbi having the chance to thwart Rangers’ transfer hopes.

What is Roberto De Zerbi’s youth record?
De Zerbi’s arrival will worry those at Ibrox as the Italian has often trusted youth throughout his career.
In his last three jobs that have lasted more than one season, he has averaged 10 debuts handed out per season. While Moore would not be making his Tottenham debut, that stat simply highlights De Zerbi’s outlook.

When at Brighton, the under-21s head coach, Shannon Ruth, was also full of praise for De Zerbi stating: “As we’ve seen, Roberto is keen to promote from within, with age no barrier for him.
“It takes a lot of courage and belief to have that outlook at the highest level, and our players take great encouragement from seeing their teammates stepping up.”
He later said: “Roberto has played a huge part in how we think about the game at U21 level, how we set targets, how good we need to be and how determined and ambitious we should be.”
With 18-year-old Moore thriving in Glasgow, there is every chance that the now Tottenham coach continues his trend of trusting youth, and he may look to keep the winger in North London.

His record with young talents certainly does not bode well for the G51 outfit, although Moore may push to remain at Rangers.
Mikey Moore must not let future impact his performances
For an 18-year-old, it could be easy for the uncertainty around him to affect his performances, but Rangers need him to remain fully focused.
The winger has been instrumental as the Bears look to secure the Scottish Premiership title.
His bravery, confidence and willingness to run at the man ahead of him have been key traits for Danny Rohl’s side.
With him still being a teenager, Moore will now need to show maturity beyond his age and keep his eyes set on finishing the season strongly at Ibrox.
Hopefully, this will not be the last of the Englishman in G51.
