Ibrox View: Rohl faces unwanted headache on key Rangers man amid tight int'l turnaround
Danny Rohl is hardly going to be pleased as Rangers ace Nico Raskin prepares for international duty with Belgium.
The 25-year-old has earned yet another call-up to the Red Devils’ squad after his positive form continued with the Ibrox outfit.
He has played a regular role under the German head coach and has been a consistent force in the middle of the park in Govan this season.
That has caught the attention of Rudi Garcia, who has maintained the Gers midfielder’s spot in the national squad for the March break.
Raskin now prepares for clashes with America and Mexico, with the latter bound to leave Rohl ripping his own hair out.

Nico Raskin faces Ibrox return problem with Belgium
There’s no doubt that the number 43 deserves to go away with his country after consistently excellent form with the Light Blues in the past two seasons.
That hasn’t always translated into minutes on the international stage, with a limited number of appearances coming since his first in March 2025.
Year Appearances Goals 2026 7 1 2024-25 2 0 2023 (U21s) 9 2
He will be hopeful that there can be a change in the upcoming break after helping continue a Scottish Premiership title charge under Rohl.
The Ibrox boss will have one eye on Raskin and have firm hopes he will remain fit throughout his time away from G51.

Another worry is on the table, however, as Belgium’s friendly with Mexico at Soldier Field will kick off at 8pm in Chicago.
That equates to 2am in the UK, something which is likely to concern Rohl as it leaves the midfielder with little turnover time ahead of the Rangers clash with Dundee United three days later.
Raskin may face an uncertain future at the Rangers moving forward, but for now, they will want him fit and firing for their cause.
Raskin can still help Rangers after international break
With just 85 hours between kick-off with Belgium and kick-off with Rangers, the midfielder certainly faces a problem.
That turnaround in separate continents in stadiums over 3,600 miles apart will hardly be easy, but his time in North America could still boost the Gers.
The international break will give Raskin an opportunity to work with top players like Kevin de Bruyne, Youri Tielemans and Jeremy Doku.
Learning from those talents may help the Rangers man take a step up and return to Govan with a pep in his step.
Even if Rohl misses the midfielder against Dundee United, having him at his best across the final stages of the season may prove to be invaluable.
