Igor Tudor sack announcement due at Tottenham as footage emerges from Hotspur Way
Igor Tudor is expected to be sacked by Tottenham Hotspur as early as Wednesday amid a fresh update provided by Gary Cotterill.
Tudor lost his fourth game in a row since succeeding Thomas Frank as Spurs were humiliated 5-2 away at Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
Spurs found themselves three goals down inside 15 minutes and conceded a fourth before half-time, at which point goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky had been hauled off.
And Tudor’s time now appears to be up at Tottenham before it ever truly got going.

Garry Cotterill update on Igor Tudor telling
Tudor and the rest of the Tottenham staff and players arrived back from Madrid in the early hours of Wednesday morning with their tales between their legs.
And sharing an update via Sky Sports News on Wednesday morning, reporter Cotterill said he now expects the sack to be very close indeed.
Asked if Tudor has dodged the sack for now, given the lack of any update from Spurs, Cotterill said: “No. There’s stuff going on inside.
“A couple of reasons I think that: at 8:50am this morning, the chief executive – the one who’ll announce the decision – arrived here at the training ground.
“Igor Tudor is inside and my understanding is he’s arrived early this morning. Tudor spent the night inside this lodge after landing in the early hours of this morning. I think there’s probably something afoot.”
Cotterill broke away as footage emerged of an SUV departing Hotspur Way – the same one that had arrived a couple of hours earlier – with Vinai Venkatesham or Tudor thought to be inside.
Sean Dyche and the other favourites to succeed Tudor
Spurs’ gamble in going with Premier League rookie Tudor has massively backfired, and relegation now looks more likely than ever – let alone any hopes of progressing in Europe.
Sean Dyche has emerged as the new favourite to replace Tudor. While that may sound surprising on the face of it – he was sacked by Nottingham Forest earlier this season – it could make sense.

Dyche is probably better suited to keeping Spurs up over the remaining nine games than any other manager out of work.
Beyond Dyche, the list is as it was with Mauricio Pochettino and Robbie Keane also mentioned, while Harry Redknapp falls very much into the firefighter category.
If it was not already apparent before the Atletico game that change is needed promptly, it surely is now. Let’s hope Venkatesham and Co. see sense and pull the trigger on Tudor right now.
Summer Focus: Survival contingent
Risk: £250m hit if relegated
Long-term: Maddison, Kulusevski
Date: Tuesday, March 10
